Job Title: Registered Nurse Med Surg

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team at the Detroit Medical Center (DMC). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care to a diverse population of patients, including those with medical and surgical conditions. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, conduct thorough assessments, and provide education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with medical and surgical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
