Physician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at St. Mary's Health Care. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as a consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician (MD/DO) licensed by New York State prior to hire date.
- Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
