We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Parts Driver to join our team at Longo Lexus, a proud member of the Penske Motor Group family of automotive dealerships.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Fulfill orders for products, following order tickets, and forward or mail items as necessary.
- Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Unload or unpack incoming shipments, arrange, pack, or prepare materials and products for display, distribution, outgoing shipment, or storage.
- Collaborate with the Parts team to support online parts orders.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Replenish assigned parts inventory.
- Keep counter areas clean and uncluttered.
- Responsible for making parts deliveries and pick-ups to guests, dealerships, and other account holders.
- Perform other specific administrative functions as directed by management.
- Assist in all other areas of the parts department as needed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand mathematical principles and apply them.
- Attention to detail, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and work well with the public.
- Proficient with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- A valid driver's license and a safe driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
The physical demands of this role include frequently bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching with the body, arms, and/or legs, as well as working outdoors in various weather conditions.
