We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Swedish Edmonds. This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts, offering a competitive salary and a hiring bonus for eligible candidates.
About the RoleAs an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Progressive Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment: Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing plans to address them.
- Evidence-Based Practices: Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and quality care.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and optimize patient transitions across the continuum.
- Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of inquiry and excellence, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nursing.
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- A valid Washington state RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse.
