Your Impact on Patient Care at Rehab America:

As a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be integral in assessing and treating patients requiring intervention for swallowing or speech-language challenges. You will serve as a valuable resource for other team members and contribute to the overall program development within the facility. Reporting directly to the Regional Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments in Speech-Language Pathology to evaluate patients' abilities in speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans following the assessment phase
  • Participating in scheduled patient and family care conferences as coordinated by the Program Supervisor
  • Contributing to ongoing program development and implementation

Required Qualifications and Licensure:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology theories and treatment methodologies
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Auto liability insurance in accordance with company policy
  • For CFY positions: Must have a CFY Supervisor within the organization and meet educational and supervised clinical experience requirements for certification
