Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd. in a part-time, hybrid role that includes both remote monitoring services and direct patient care within our innovative pain clinics.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to perform initial examinations and provide physical therapy intervention to a diverse patient population. This position is entry-level and part of a multi-disciplinary team, with opportunities to rotate across inpatient, outpatient, and acute services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial examinations, establish goals, plan and implement treatment interventions, and perform timely re-examinations.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines when indicated and assume responsibility for all documentation requirements in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to families or care partners and medical personnel as needed.
  • Recommend durable medical equipment and write letters of medical necessity when required.
  • Participate in discharge planning, make recommendations for continued physical therapy, and provide home exercise programs when appropriate.
  • Attend conferences, rounds, inservices, and meetings as required.
  • Be assigned additional patients as needed to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Maintain therapy attendance records, patient charges, and statistics.
  • Supervise Rehab Patient Care Associates, volunteers, and students as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate).
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or working with the geriatric population is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
  • High proficiency in using digital health tools and strong communication abilities.
