Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and safety

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working in a pediatric medical surgical unit or similar setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
