Nurse Rotational Program: Shadyside Hospital Opportunity

UPMC Shadyside is pleased to offer a Graduate Nurse Rotational Program, designed to provide recent nursing graduates with a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
This 12-month program allows participants to rotate through three units of their choice within our three service lines, gaining valuable and varied experience while working alongside experienced nurses to mentor and guide them in their learning.

What to Expect
As a participant in the Graduate Nurse Rotational Program, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to the latest technology and equipment.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility as you progress through the program.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse required prior to program start date OR must have a Temporary Practice Permit and commit to taking the NCLEX examination within SIX months of hire.
- UPMC-approved national certification is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
