We are currently looking for skilled Nursing Professionals to join our Seasonal Flu Clinics, which will be conducted in diverse environments, including corporate offices, educational institutions, and community centers.

Flu Nurses will be responsible for administering influenza vaccinations, addressing participants' inquiries regarding potential side effects and related concerns, while ensuring their comfort and observing their reactions to the vaccinations.

Nurses should possess a comprehensive understanding of vaccine safety protocols and demonstrate the ability to maintain a calm atmosphere for participants.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer influenza vaccinations to participants
  • Observe and monitor participant reactions during the vaccination process
  • Build rapport and ensure participants feel at ease
  • Adhere to recordkeeping and reporting standards set forth by CHC and the CDC
  • Guarantee proper and secure storage of vaccinations
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and vaccines, returning any unused items promptly
  • Conduct pre-event preparations and post-event reconciliations at vaccination and wellness events
  • Work independently or under the guidance of a lead vaccination nurse

Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Valid license in the state where the job is performed
Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
Prior experience in administering influenza vaccinations is preferred

Language Proficiency:
Bilingual: English/Spanish is advantageous

Mathematical Skills:
Basic proficiency required

Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Reasoning Ability:
Must demonstrate sound judgment and business acumen skills
