Job Overview

NW Employment Solutions is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to operate printing presses in a fast-paced labeling company environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and run printing presses daily, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring equipment and raw materials are properly cared for.
  • Implement 5S program requirements to promote efficiency and productivity.
  • Thoroughly review job paperwork to understand customer and in-house requirements, completing necessary documentation as instructed.
  • Utilize CERM program to track job times and material usage, reporting any malfunctions or issues.
  • Inspect inks, coatings, and supplementary supplies to ensure they meet quality standards for printed materials.
  • FOLLOW PROTOCOLS FOR PRESS SETUP AND CLEANUP, PERIODIC MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING, AND BEST PRACTICES FOR FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • This role requires passing a background check and drug screen.
  • Able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • A valid resume is mandatory.
  • Previous press operating experience is essential.
  • Passing a mechanical aptitude test is required before scheduling interviews.
Compensation and Benefits
