**About the Job:**

The US Postal Service is seeking a highly skilled Rural Mail Carrier to join their team. As a Rural Mail Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering mail along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle. This role requires strong customer service skills, as you will provide a variety of services to customers on the route.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Case, Deliver, and Collect Mail: Sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route, receive and sign for accountable mail, and load mail in the vehicle.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver mail to customers along a prescribed route and on a regular schedule by a vehicle, collect monies and receipts for accountable mail, and pick up mail from roadside boxes.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Prepare mail for forwarding, maintain records of change of address information, and prepare a daily trip report.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
