Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RNC Trim Mechanic ll to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for preparing trims on new air conditioning and heating systems in residential new construction homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select and install materials according to product specifications and job standards.
  • Install HVAC equipment, fans, grilles, dampers, wiring, and piping as directed.
  • Fabricate and install assemblies and systems in manufacturing plants or work sites according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Measure, size, cut, and apply duct insulation.
  • Braze and solder metals to connect piping.
  • Read duct and ventilation plans and use a ductulator to determine proper duct size.
  • Run copper and drain lines.
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of duct materials, copper, and composite parts.
  • Obtain required tools and arrive at job sites on time.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and develop communication and teamwork skills.
  • Report job and safety-related issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure a safe workplace and comply with Del-Air policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in HVAC residential installation, two years preferred.
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet FCCI auto guidelines.
  • Ability to work in attics, roofs, and other high places.
  • Ability to travel, if needed.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including overtime.
  • Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
