Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the overall well-being and development of each child in your care.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members to create a purposeful learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
  • Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position.
  • Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students.
  • Must have one of the following:
    • Bachelors Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field.
    • Associate degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field.
    • High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with children.
