Sterilization Specialist

Precision Orthodontics is a dynamic dental office seeking an experienced Sterilization Technician to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess technical and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

• Follow established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing medical equipment and instruments
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality before and after sterilization
• Operate sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, in accordance with manufacturer instructions
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance
• Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and order replacements as needed
• Assist with the organization and stocking of supply areas
• Collaborate with orthodontic team to ensure timely and efficient sterilization of equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in dental sterilization techniques (preferred).
• Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization processes.
• Previous experience as a sterile technician or in a dental office setting (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols with precision.
