Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Samuel Contract Staffing. As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during all phases of cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-procedure care, including obtaining informed consent, labs, and vital signs.
  • Assist with intra-procedure care, including circulating and monitoring patients, and alerting physicians to any changes in patient status.
  • Ensure safe radiation protection protocols are followed.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in post-procedure care, including assessment and documentation of patient information, and teaching patients and families about post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and protocols.
