Morgan Lewis is seeking a skilled Billing Coordinator to support the firm's billing function on a global basis. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of client bills for assigned clients and matters.
Key Responsibilities- Client Billing Support: Provide exceptional support to partners and clients by managing all aspects of billing for assigned clients and matters, with minimal supervision.
- Billing Compliance: Review matter setup to ensure compliance with rate agreements and outside counsel guidelines.
- Time and Cost Entry Management: Review time and cost entries based on client and matter requirements, edit entries, and submit timekeepers and new matter requests to eBilling vendors.
- Client Communication: Contact new clients to review billing and payment procedures and coordinate handling of any special requests.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of 3E or Elite Billing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PDF software, with experience in electronic billing utilizing the e-Billing Hub and various eBilling vendor sites.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses excellent customer service skills.
