Job DescriptionWe are seeking a board-certified academic cardiologist to join our team of 13 cardiologists, 11 advanced practice providers, and a cadre of nurses and technologists dedicated to the cardiac care of patients with cancer.
The Cardiology Service at MSK provides consultations for a 500-bed hospital, outpatient clinics, and support for a growing regional network of MSK oncology and affiliated cardiology practices. Our service has established relationships with leading cardiovascular institutions in NYC and surrounding areas.
As a faculty physician, you will contribute to the teaching and research missions, including supervising cardiology fellows, medical residents, medical students, and APPs. You will also participate in education and quality assurance activities, and receive protected time for clinical research, teaching, and other academic activities.
Key Qualifications- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent with excellent clinical, communication, and team skills
- Board certification or board-eligible in cardiovascular diseases
- Level II competency in Echocardiography (TTE, TEE, stress echo)
- Licensure in the state of New York, or eligibility for a medical license in New York
- A strong interest in pursuing academic excellence with a track record of scholarly achievements
Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
