Cordevalle is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously taken care of and that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning and Coordination
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- Develop and implement event plans, including menus, decorations, and logistics
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless execution
- Service Management
- Supervise and train banquet staff to ensure exceptional service standards
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ensure that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards
- Communication and Problem-Solving
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure smooth event execution
- Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during events
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Administrative Tasks
- Manage event budgets and ensure that expenses are within allocated limits
- Prepare and submit event reports and evaluations
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Three years' experience in banquet service
- High school diploma
