Key Responsibilities

In our fast-paced environment, priorities may shift, and this role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Developing cost estimates at different design phases, from preliminary budgets to detailed take-offs and pricing.
  • Engaging in project meetings, reviewing timelines, and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Analyzing documentation to gain a thorough understanding of project specifications.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with vendors, clients, and fellow project managers.
  • Conducting in-depth analyses of collected data and metrics.
  • Visiting various sites and facilities as necessary to perform estimates.
  • Effectively communicating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors; preparing economic feasibility studies on modifications and adjustments to cost estimates.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) License or Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Electrical Infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in RS Means Cost Estimating Format.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
