Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
  • Float between units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Oregon.
  • 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • BLS certification.
  • NRP certification.
  • AWHONN guidelines knowledge.
  • AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
