As a caregiver/personal assistant, you will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals. You will also be responsible for serving meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and assisting in preparing meals following pre-planned menus.

You will encourage residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids while respecting their right to free choice and record and report changes in their eating habits to the supervisor.

You will initiate and participate in leisure activities provided for residents as described in the activity calendar and encourage residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs to develop friendships with other residents.

You will maintain residents' records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures, documenting medication distribution as applicable, leisure activities, incidents, and observations, and reporting any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behavior, and visitors.

You will maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the residents, performing general housekeeping, and following cleaning schedules for resident laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas.

You will follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to residents' requests for assistance.

We are seeking a caregiver/personal assistant who is able to work day shifts, come and go, and is willing to take regular short hours. The ideal candidate will have preferred 6 months to 1 year of experience, but it is not required.

Vaccinated or unvaccinated candidates are welcome, and proof of vaccination is required prior to seeing a client.
