Job Responsibilities

Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances throughout the perioperative process.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Requirements:

Minimum Education: Associate's degree Required, Bachelor's degree Preferred

Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Licenses: Registered Nurse - Kentucky State Licensure or Compact Licensure Required
