Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Connecticut.
  • ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly those with complex medical needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with FEES, MBS, and TEP assessments.
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and language delay.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Work Environment

The Speech-Language Pathologist will work in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient units. The individual must be able to stand, walk, talk, hear, lift, push, pull, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive motions of the wrist, fingers, or hands. The worker is subject to inside environmental/atmospheric conditions such as poor ventilation and is also subject to hazards such as exposure to chemicals.

Additional Information

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be required to maintain current licensure and certification, as well as participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
