Position Overview
TechFlow is seeking a seasoned Wastewater Operations Supervisor to oversee essential functions in wastewater and stormwater management.
This role entails direct oversight of planning, scheduling, assigning, and supervising work crews engaged in maintenance operations.
Salary: Starting at $85,000 (Dependent on Experience) plus employer-sponsored health benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all tasks related to wastewater and stormwater maintenance, including preventive upkeep and chemical analysis.
- Delegate responsibilities to team members based on their expertise and current workload, ensuring efficient task distribution to meet project timelines.
- Regularly assess the progress of tasks and projects to confirm adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Identify potential challenges and implement proactive solutions.
- Ensure that team output meets established quality standards through inspections and corrective measures as necessary.
- Optimize resource management, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Uphold safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Foster effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders, including clients and management.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over 10 years of management experience in wastewater and stormwater maintenance
- Wastewater 1 or 2 Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- U.S. citizenship to secure access to military facilities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to exert moderate physical effort, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Tasks may involve exposure to various environmental conditions, including dust, temperature fluctuations, and hazardous materials.
