Social Work Program Director and Accreditation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Social Work Professor and Administrator to lead our undergraduate social work program through the accreditation process with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The successful candidate will oversee and guide the social work team in achieving CSWE accreditation status.
About the Role
This full-time position will have some teaching responsibilities, as well as college community involvement. Ideal candidates will be interested in both program administration and teaching a variety of Social Work courses, and be an active member of the college's academic/student community.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the social work team through the CSWE accreditation process, including initial application, developing timelines, benchmarks, organizing site visits, and the required program self-study.
- Oversight of program adherence to the 2022 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards, including the nine core competencies.
- Assist in developing a program marketing plan and coordinate with admissions to support student recruitment.
- Participate in community governance and cooperative support/planning of social work programming.
- Maintain an active and equitable team membership of the Social Work department.
- Participate in program assessment and program review.
- Engage in scholarly activity and professional development.
- Provide service to the department, the college, the community, and the profession.
- Encourage diversity and student professional development.
Candidate Qualifications
- A Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE accredited college or university; a doctorate degree in Social Work is preferred.
- A Licensed Social Worker, preferably in the State of Ohio, or the ability to transfer/receive an Ohio LSW/LISW license.
- At least two years of post-MSW experience in the field and good standing with the Licensing Board.
- Experience with the 2022 CSWE EPAS accreditation standards and the accreditation processes.
- Three-to-five years of teaching experience, preferably at a CSWE-accredited program, with additional program administration experience.
- A strong record of teaching effectiveness with a diverse student population and a demonstrated commitment to active learner-centered teaching.
- Experience with program review and program assessment, including planning and tracking outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues across many disciplines and degree levels.
- Evidence of a commitment toward diversity, equity, social justice, and inclusion.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Wilmington College offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
