Job SummaryChandler Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on a weekend shift. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting CNC machines to perform standard and routine sequences of operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on various material work-pieces.
- Deburr parts, perform and document quality checks per the control plan.
- Replace tooling as necessary and perform general machine maintenance.
- Assume responsibility for outcomes and results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years CNC Machine Operator experience or certificate in machining.
- Intermediate math skills (i.e. trigonometry, geometry, etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient reading, writing, oral communication and comprehension in English language.
- Basic blue print reading.
- Basic inspection skills.
- Basic understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to transition between various work cells utilizing skills and expertise.
- Finds creative solutions to challenges and problems.
- Takes pride in delivering high quality results.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to run multiple machines.
- Ability to operate CMM.
- Ability to machine tight tolerances.
- CNC Machine Technology or related certification is preferred.
