Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Sweetser. As a Clinical Therapist, you will work with adults in a crisis stabilization setting, providing assessments and short-term therapy to individuals experiencing behavioral crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completes timely comprehensive assessments of individuals admitted to the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans, monitoring progress and collaborating with internal and external providers.
  • Provides clinical supervision and training to CSU direct care staff.
  • Creates and implements comprehensive discharge/aftercare plans for each individual.
  • Ensures proper releases and service agreements are acquired, and documentation is timely and reflects medical necessity.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, clinical counseling, or a comparable mental health program.
  • Independently licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT, or conditional licensure considered.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Minimum of two years relevant experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
