Clinical Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Sweetser. As a Clinical Therapist, you will work with adults in a crisis stabilization setting, providing assessments and short-term therapy to individuals experiencing behavioral crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes timely comprehensive assessments of individuals admitted to the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
- Develops and implements treatment plans, monitoring progress and collaborating with internal and external providers.
- Provides clinical supervision and training to CSU direct care staff.
- Creates and implements comprehensive discharge/aftercare plans for each individual.
- Ensures proper releases and service agreements are acquired, and documentation is timely and reflects medical necessity.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, clinical counseling, or a comparable mental health program.
- Independently licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT, or conditional licensure considered.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Minimum of two years relevant experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Persons with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system are encouraged to apply.
