Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing ITS/Traffic product(s) on-site or in-house. This will include electrical, data, and fiber optic cable installation, conduit and pull box installation, and pole and foundation installation. The technician will also be responsible for recording and documenting work, maintaining compliance standards and plans, and providing technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Install equipment, including cameras, detectors, and controller cabinets.
- Install electrical conductor, data conductor, and fiber optic cable.
- Install pull boxes, conduits, poles, and foundations.
- Connect conductors to equipment to make equipment work correctly.
- Test devices to ensure they work correctly.
- Prepare logs to keep track of field conditions and installation activities.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fiber optic systems and/or ITS field devices, such as DMS, CCTV, MVDS, RSU, Traffic Signal Controllers, and power systems. A strong understanding of electrical and data systems is also required.
What We Offer:Eland Engineering offers a competitive salary range of $40,000-$85,000 DOE, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K retirement plan with company match, life insurance, paid holidays, PTO accrual, and applicable continued education programs.
