Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

About the Role:

This is a part-time, night shift position with 2 x 12 hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, therapeutic care to patients and families in a holistic and systematic way.
  • Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
  • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
  • Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
  • Ensure improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in life-long learning.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
  • 2+ years of L&D experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in English, strong verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
  • Values team collaboration.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
