Job Summary:
TriStar Health is seeking a PRN acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to enhance our medical team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care within our intensive care units.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in acute care or as a Physician Assistant
- Preferred experience in ICU settings
- Proficiency in performing essential Critical Care procedures, including central and arterial line placements, intubations, and mechanical ventilation management.
- Availability for PRN shifts, approximately 4-6 shifts monthly, including a mix of days, nights, and weekends
- 12-hour shifts in a 31-bed medical ICU and a 16-bed Neuro ICU
- Collaborative environment with 2 MDs and 2 APPs during the day, and 1 MD and 1 APP at night
- Engagement with a high-acuity patient population
