About Food and Beverage

The Food and Beverage team at Target is responsible for ensuring a consistent experience for our guests. This includes maintaining product freshness, inventory accuracy, and food safety. Our team members are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, and are responsible for leading food and food services, including replenishment, inventory management, and promotional signing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service and build a guest-first culture in food and beverage
  • Offer guidance on product availability, storage, and freshness
  • Manage food and beverage business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory, quality, and freshness management
  • Ensure food safety standards and routines are followed
  • Merchandise food and beverage products effectively

  • Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
