About the Role:

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver for Seniors to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and assistance to residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring side effects.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, such as exercise programs, arts and crafts, and social events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation, including creating and updating individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds; stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
