Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Crew Lead to join our team at GSM Creamery. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the front of the store, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellent customer service.
  • Conduct product quality checks, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
  • Lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks, including banking procedures and government compliance.
  • Perform register maintenance and upkeep, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Ensure that the store is clean and safe, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements:

  • Food service background is an asset, but not required.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment: Our store is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a moderate to loud noise level. You will be exposed to chemicals used in cleaning and extreme temperatures while working in the walk-in freezer and with hot water while cleaning and sanitizing tools and containers.
