Position Details

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.50

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm, Full-Time

The armed security officer will conduct vehicle and foot patrols while managing access control at a designated site.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Previous military service
  • Experience in corrections or law enforcement
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • Graduation from a public safety academy (Law Enforcement, Corrections, Firefighting)
  • Prior experience in firefighting

Priority will be given to candidates who already possess a Class 'G' license.

If you do not have the Class D or G licenses, Allied Universal will offer sponsorship for the necessary training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and executing emergency response actions when necessary.
  • Address incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Perform regular and random patrols around the premises and its perimeter, with working conditions varying by client site.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old for armed positions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Applicants will undergo a background investigation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screening as permitted by law.
  • Participation in industry-specific security and safety training programs is required.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.

Note: A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
