Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services to individuals with various physical and cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine the need for intervention and develop comprehensive plans of care and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to set treatment goals and initiate discharge planning.
  • Recommends additions to or modifications of referring orders as necessary.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, with experience in stroke, upper extremity, and post-surgical care.
  • Alaska state license prior to starting.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and Hand Therapy Certification.
