Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at the Carriage House Early Learning Center in Breckenridge, CO.

As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing daily lesson plans and providing a nurturing environment for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation of daily lesson plans and care
  • Actively engaging children and encouraging social, cognitive, and emotional growth
  • Ensuring all center policies and state regulations are met
  • Maintaining a healthy classroom environment, including hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
  • Maintaining personal professional development to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements include:

  • A great attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work well with others and adjust to children's individual needs
  • Enrollment in 2 (fully paid by Carriage House) Early Childhood classes, if needed, within the first year of employment
  • A clear full background check
  • Residency in Summit County or surrounding areas

Nice to have qualifications include:

  • A Colorado Early Childhood qualified teacher or holds a Colorado Shines Level 2 credential
  • Experience with young children in a group classroom setting
  • Early childhood coursework
