The Facility Maintenance Technician III will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform advanced-level maintenance tasks to ensure the service life of company assets, including physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, utilities, and grounds.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Quality and Safety: Adhere to Novant Health's First Do No Harm (NHFDNH) safety behaviors and error prevention tools to ensure a safe and remarkable patient experience.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Plant Engineering Services leadership, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
Requirements:
- Education: GED or High School Diploma
- Experience: Minimum six years of experience performing plant operations and general maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar facility or similar work environment required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of four years of experience performing plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare facility or similar work environment.
