Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Telecommunications Field Technician to join our team at Fastwyre Broadband. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their telecommunication needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy while working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain basic telecommunication services, including COE, CATV, CPE, OSP, buildings, and vehicles, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all work is performed safely and to the highest quality standards, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals, share knowledge, and support each other in achieving excellence.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license; Alaska Driver's License required for those not issued by the state of Alaska.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
