We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Gulfport Behavioral Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our psychiatric hospital.
Responsibilities- Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various mental health conditions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
- Currently licensed to practice by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.
- Ability to pass a medication administration exam and obtain CPR and CPI certifications.
