The Opportunity

This short-term travel nurse practitioner assignment presents an opportunity to leverage your expertise and compassion, making a direct impact on the health and well-being of others.

This travel nurse practitioner-PRN role involves conducting Adult/Geriatric Assessments, medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up, and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols.

As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and any appropriate ancillary medical personnel as necessary. You will also collaborate with Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education and provide follow-up.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure is required.
  • Current RN and NP licensure in the state of practice, including prescription authority or the ability to obtain prescriptive authority, is mandatory.
  • Board certification by the AANP, ANCC, or AACCN in a Matrix-approved specialty is necessary.
  • A current BLS, ACLS, or CPR certification is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is needed.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Employee health/medical record software are essential.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, clients, and colleagues.
  • Be comfortable and flexible with frequent change.
Salary and Benefits

This PRN position offers a competitive daily rate of $125 per completed assessment, along with daily per diem and travel reimbursement.

While benefits are limited for PRN providers, there are opportunities for voluntary benefits.
