Job Summary

At Rail City Casino, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier and Busser to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect plates, utensils, and drinkware from tables and transport them to the kitchen for cleaning.
  • Clean tables after guests have completed meals and set up tables for service, ensuring condiments, napkins, and utensils are stocked and clean.
  • Quickly and accurately complete sales at the cash register and follow all cash handling procedures, including proper drawer closing.
  • Successfully complete side work to specifications, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces in the restaurant.
  • Refill drink orders as needed and perform other duties as required or requested by management.

Requirements

  • Experience with cash handling, including following proper register closing procedures and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to operate a cash register and count out change for guests.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions and complete assignments given by department managers.

Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $13.00 per hour.
