Job Title: Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a competitive pay package. As a Travel Nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from anesthesia
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in PACU
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
