As an independent, progressive, community hospital, Mary Rutan Health provides the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine with local governance and collegial and collaborative physicians.
Responsibilities- Must be available to start on January 1, 2025
- Procedures required: intubation and central line
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Full-time schedule with 7 days on / 7 days off / 24-hour call rotation
- Single Hospitalist staffing caring for inpatient and observation patients on med-surg floor and ICU
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12-15
- Inpatient - practice experience working with CNPs to share workload during daytime hours and to admit and care for patients during evening shift
- Familiarity with contracted e-ICU services for consults
- Ability to collaborate with strong specialist support in areas such as General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, General Surgery, Neurology, ENT, Orthopedics, Anesthesia, OB/GYN, Pathology, and Radiology
- Board Eligible (within 0-3 years of residency) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- OH license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain)
- DEA (or willing to obtain)
- At least 1 year of employment experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Provider must be able/willing to do intubation and central lines
- No license actions or recent malpractice
- Clean Malpractice History
- 45-minute or less response time while on call
