Automotive Damage Appraiser

SilverLinx is seeking a skilled Automotive Damage Appraiser to join our team. As an expert in assessing accident damages and accident processes, you will play a crucial role in determining the necessary repair processes and measures for cars, commercial vehicles, and mobile machines.

Responsibilities

  • Assess accident damages and accident processes on vehicles, taking into account technical, legal, and contractual regulations.
  • Determine the necessary repair processes and measures, considering relevant technical, legal, and contractual regulations.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on automotive damage assessments.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Automotive Technology, Body and Vehicle Construction, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field, combined with professional experience in the automotive sector.
  • Relevant experience in the repair of motor vehicles.
  • Knowledge of expert systems such as Audatex, DAT, or Schwacke is advantageous.
  • High level of quality awareness and a proactive, service-oriented work style.
  • Strong communication skills to create meaningful and precise evaluations and appraisals.
  • Class B driver's license and willingness to work locally in the field.
