Job Description

PeopleReady, a leading staffing agency, is seeking a Fire Watcher to join our team for a long-term project in a manufacturing environment. As a Fire Watcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of employees and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the work area for potential fire hazards and take prompt action to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other employees to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Respond to emergencies by extinguishing fires or activating the fire alarm system.
  • Perform general labor and janitorial duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a hot environment with potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Must be clean-shaven and able to wear personal protective equipment.
  • No smoking is allowed on premises.
  • Must not be afraid of heights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
