Role Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation policies.
- Facilitate the admission process for new residents, including conducting assessments and maintaining documentation.
- Develop and implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
- Oversee clinical system tracking (e.g., wound care or infection control) under the guidance of the director.
- Provide health-related consultations within the community.
- Inform physicians and/or family members of any changes in residents' health, ensuring proper documentation.
- Respond promptly to all emergency situations.
- Maintain effective communication with all departments and staff members.
- Conduct educational sessions for residents and staff.
- Uphold the confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
- Handle discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as required.
Educational Background: Completion of an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
Field of Study: General nursing
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
Relevant Experience: Senior care or related fields
Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the practicing state; CPR Certification required
Language Proficiency: Adequate English proficiency to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and colleagues, and respond to emergencies.
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy
Competencies and Skills:
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
