About the Job

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Fire Alarm Installation Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our low voltage systems installation team, you will be responsible for the physical and operational installation and documentation of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, nurse call, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure fire alarm, access control, CCTV, nurse call, and security systems in commercial facilities, entertainment venues, places of worship, and other settings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external customers, including commercial facilities, entertainment venues, places of worship, manufacturers, and other organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, including salespersons, technicians, and other team members, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and parts manuals to diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Use hand tools and multi-meter equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Regularly climb ladders and use lifts to access hard-to-reach areas.
  • Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Industry experience in fire alarm and security systems installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and parts manuals.
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Positive attitude, organized, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, trustworthy, honest, and responsible.
