Job Summary

As a Hospice Aide with Coler Hospice LTD, you will play a vital role in providing personal care services to terminally ill patients in their homes. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and ambulation, as well as performing range of motion exercises and incidental household services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, and transferring
  • Perform range of motion exercises and other therapeutic interventions as assigned by the RN
  • Document patient information and progress in the Brightree system
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2 years of experience as a nursing assistant preferred
  • Must meet federal Home Health Aide training and competency requirements
  • Ability to work independently and make accurate judgments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
