We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic licensed Physical Therapist with a keen interest in oncology to enhance our patient care offerings within our ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program. This facility primarily focuses on hand therapy, supported by a team of two occupational therapists and a certified hand therapist. Candidates must possess licensed adult outpatient orthopedic experience, with a preference for those with backgrounds in cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema. The caseload will encompass both general orthopedic and oncology cases, with potential for growth in oncology services. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with our esteemed ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, committed to improving the quality of life for individuals impacted by cancer. Our team provides essential training and education for therapists dedicated to serving our diverse patient demographic, which must be completed within the initial 6-12 months of employment. ReVital is a pioneering oncology rehabilitation initiative exclusively offered by Select Medical, aiming to integrate comprehensive cancer rehabilitation into standard care practices for those affected by cancer. Our extensive network of over 900 specially trained, multidisciplinary therapists collaborates closely with oncologists and patients to develop personalized rehabilitation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster open and respectful communication with all stakeholders
  • Comply with state practice acts and regulations governing Physical Therapists
  • Complete and maintain necessary training requirements
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations
  • Assess, treat, and oversee patient treatment plans
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of educational prerequisites for state licensure or eligibility for a Physical Therapy license
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the practice state
  • CPR certification
  • Experience in licensed adult outpatient orthopedic settings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest or experience in cancer rehabilitation
  • Experience or certification in lymphedema management
