About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Registering Patients: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, registering them for appointments and verifying their information.
  • Pre-Visit Planning: Complete pre-visit planning, including contacting patients for updated insurance information and verifying patient records.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks to ensure the patient's visit is smooth, billing is processed in a timely manner, and the front office remains organized.
  • Communication: Answer inbound calls to schedule patients and act as a liaison to clinical staff for patient questions.
  • Outbound Calls: Complete outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer software and systems is essential for this position.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • EMR Experience: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
